How Brightnet Computer Academy collects, uses and protects your information.
Information we collect
Details you give us when you enquire, apply for admission, pay fees or apply for a franchise: name, parent or guardian name, date of birth, phone, email, address, course choice, photographs and identity or qualification documents. We also record fee payments, attendance, exam attempts and results while you are enrolled.
How we use it
- To process admissions, enrolment and fee payments, and to issue admit cards, marksheets and certificates.
- To let you and employers verify the authenticity of your documents through our QR verification pages.
- To send service messages such as fee, exam and result reminders.
- To keep the platform secure and to prevent fraud.
Who can see it
Your study center and Brightnet Computer Academy staff can see your records to run your course. Our payment gateway processes card and UPI details; we do not store card numbers. Public verification pages show only limited, document-specific details to someone who holds the enrolment number, certificate number or QR code. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep academic and fee records for as long as needed to verify certificates and meet legal or accounting obligations. Enquiry data that does not lead to admission is removed on request.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, subject to records we must keep. Students can switch off reminder messages from the Notification Settings page in the student portal.
Security
Accounts are password protected, sessions expire, and access is limited by role and institute. No online service is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.
